This post goes out to all you parents out there that seem to think that there isn’t any time to spend with your loved ones because everyday events keep you from doing so. Take a long look in the mirror and stare into your eyes and tell me what you see. If you’re like me and you see absolutely nothing then please do me a favor and step back and look again. The person looking back at you needs some time away from the daily grind. If you own a pet like I do and you know you haven’t spent as much time with it, please do so. The rewards from doing just this are tremendous. I just spent about an hour and a half with my dog Quila wrestling and playing fetch. She’s exhausted right now but I know she’s happier knowing that I took the time and played with her. Focus on what really matters in your life and hold on tight.
You know exactly what I’m referring to - that’s right, Uncle Sam wants his cut for the year. Well, if you’re a tax nut like my friend Bill where he tried to process his taxes by himself and then found out that it’s easier to do them with TurboTax then go right ahead. If not, then I would like you to take a moment to visit edeals.com where you can get TurboTax Promo Codes before purchasing the program. Please visit and save yourself some money when buying the program through them. I don’t know about you but saving 10% on a purchase sounds good right about now.
Don’t miss out.
Well it’s week three and I’m well into the minus 15% paycut and let me tell you that it sucks but like the title says “It could be worse”. I could be unemployed right now or maybe I would of had a 30% cut instead of the 15%. When something hits you hard and it’s totally unexpected you can do what I do and think of something worse that it could of been and it might help you feel better. I’m not saying it will have you singing happy tunes but you won’t be completely depressed. That’s why I hold my head up high and see that even though it’s tough right now I know that I’ll make it one way or another.
God Bless all.
Well, seeing that my brother is coming in at the end of April and he is currently single. Maybe if I pull some strings I can see if Rent A Friend would be something he might be interested in. We are planning on going out for my birthday to dinner and a movie and seeing that he is single he might want someone to accompany him when we all go out.
Rent A Friend offers services that goes beyond just a date - they actually have people who are looking for true friendship relationships. Who know maybe he might want to apply and help out other folks who come into town and would like a little company when venturing a new city. I checked them out before for my cousins you should check it out as well and maybe help out another friend or relative that will be visiting and would love to have someone there to talk to when you are away or busy elsewhere.
My brother “Tony” will be coming in on the 29th or the 30th of April to visit me here in Toledo. How is this important you ask? Well it will be his second visit but his time instead of coming in on a Greyhound he is actually driving. Yup, he plans on driving the entire way from Connecticut. I have done this trip many of times to and from and let me tell you - if you don’t like sitting in one place for more then a few hours then I strongly suggest to you to not attempt this venture. He loves to drive, so what is better way to drive and enjoy the scenery at the same time then coming to Ohio right through Pennsylvania. Can’t wait to see you bro.
Just when I want to post more details on the day to day happenings around here my computer decides to take a vacation aka breaks. Well after going through some withdrawal I managed to tweak my daughter’s pc so that it functions the way I like it. She has a pretty new computer but she bought herself a laptop so the pc sat in a corner untouched. It turns out that her computer functions better with my video card then what it did before. So, like I promised before - I will be posting a bit more often just to keep this fresh around here. I am going to cut and paste this post and insert it into my other blog so that the readers there know where I have been.
Till Later
If you’re reading this post without any issues I would like to thank you for visiting and reading it but if you’re having trouble then please bare with me as I try to pass to you the information that is easily attainable. I want to ask you a few questions in regards to your vision.
1. Do you need eyeglasses?
2. Are you currently suffering from worn out glasses?
3. Do you want a good deal for a new pair of eyeglasses?
If you answered Yes to any of the questions then please feel free to visit the link at the bottom of this post. The link will guide you to an article that informs you of the Zenni Optical brand and that the old saying of “You get what you pay for” does not apply to the product or the company. I have already forwarded this info to my wife which is currently suffering from frames that are scratching the side of her head each time she wears them. If saving money is what concerns you the most these days and you know a new pair of glasses is what you need then please visit the link and trust me - you won’t be disappointed.
I got a good portion of my tasks done today given the fact that I feel tired and sleepy. I got a heads up on an order this morning that is fairly large and I hope to get that together by the end of the week. It looks to be a nice income for the company - now if we can only get a few more of these each month. Between this large order and our normal flow this month looks to be a positive one. Hope more will follow.
The title alone should give an idea of where I’m going with this post. My daughter the other day had issues with one of her used cars. I tried to guide her into buying another used car that would suit her needs instead of taking on a car payment for a new car that will probably be too high for her to manage. She will be calling me back tonight so I’ll post an update later to see what she decides. Hope she listens.
There are times where I find myself asking the popular question “Should I do it now or do it later”? Well for me it has been like that for about a week now - everything at work is piling up from back to front. I have to try and reorganize my day where I can do most of my duties in a timely manner instead of squeezing it all in in the last few hours before going home. Today will be a good day to try this out - wish me luck.
Am I the only one out here that thinks that having a 32 hd tv is too much for a gaming experience? Please comment below and let me know if I’m too needy.
During my “surfing” of YouTube videos I came across this one that I found to be truly informative and very entertaining. Very well done video…
Enjoy -

I have to admit that I did not watch the first half completely but I did watch from the half time on. Not sure what to think of the show during half time “The Who”. The light show was excellent but the music was pretty good. I can tell you one thing though - there was well over 10,000 (give or take a thousand) CSI fans in the house when the song “Who are you” came on. The crowd erupted with sing-a-longs for the entire song. I have so many favorite moments in the second half that I don’t know which one to post tomorrow. Come back tomorrow and see what I picked. Once again - Congrats go out to the New Orleans Saints!
With this being a moment for these two teams (Colts & Saints) to come and fight it out for the grand title he had to find it necessary to listen to his woman and let what she said get to him. Yeah I know that’s a whole lot of assumption but come on folks - the man has a short fuse as is the last thing he probably needed was his woman saying something out of place to get him going. Now I’m not saying that what he did was ok or even called for - what I am saying that he needs to control his emotions and try to walk away from certain situations. MIAMI (UPI) – Former NFL All-Pro Warren Sapp was arrested by Miami Beach police after his girlfriend accused him of choking her, a police report said.
The alleged attack at the couple’s Shore Club hotel room in Miami Beach early Saturday occurred after they had been partying at the venue.
The unidentified woman also told police she was sleeping when Sapp pulled her out of bed and demanded she leave the room.
Sapp, a former star with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after both parties were questioned by police.
Sapp was released from the Miami-Dade County jail Saturday evening.
He was in Miami to provide TV commentary Sunday for the NFL Network at Super Bowl XLIV between Indianapolis and New Orleans, but The Miami Herald said he has been taken off the air until the network reviews the incident.
